Style and how to Implement it?

'Style' which is defined as
  • A distinctive manner or custom of behaving or conducting oneself in.
  • A distinctive quality, form, or type of something.
  • A distinctive manner of expression.
Note the stress on the term 'distinctive' for in many definitions of 'style'  that I have searched for there is the term 'distinctive' present. And I believe so that style unlike fashion is distinctive, personal and customized by a person according to his or her own needs and preferences.
I have seen and known different people with their own customized dressing sense. There are people who prefer "comfort" means they believe that above all else they have to be comfortable with what they wear (Like I would consider wearing a Pajamas in my house) and it is true in most cases. A comfortable outfit enables us to spend an entire day peacefully, without needing to worry about if this and that. On stressful day's (like for instance exams). Some prefer going in a T-shirt and slacks. Why well, it's comfortable and besides you and people around would be too worried to notice and you need to feel comfortable while in an exam.

There are people who prefer "to look great" no matter what the occasion. (A party, meeting, seminar, outing with friends etc...). and that type of people do not care much about comfort. Because one could be wearing and extremely tight dress or/and high heeled stilettos and going out for a shopping. It's how they prefer it, perhaps they are used to it and may not feel much of a trouble wearing it.

But suppose a person B watching this first person A get the idea to do the same. Thinking that the heels were looking good on A so It'll on me too and the next time B goes to shopping wearing high heels and just to show off a few inches higher than A and what happens. I guess you all know, shopping in high heels (A Big NO NO). B doesn't manage a block of walking in high heels and curses the moment she decided to wear those.

So It's not always about copying what someone else is wearing. For some it may work it may add to their style and could evolve into a fashion trend. For others it may not.

So Everyone point to be noted: "You have to see what looks good on you and what you feel comfortable with." Comfort and Looking good are two almost contraries.

    1. If you want to look really good (e.g. in a party) you have to make sacrifice of comfy sport shoes/ sandals and comfy clothes and go for extremely good. If you are on a (dress to impress) kind of a mission than comfy clothes are out of the option.
    2. If you are on a casual outing with friends (though some may consider dressing up for it, depends on the kind of outing and the place). My option would be to go with comfortable.
Now something else, when I mentioned almost-contraries. I meant that almost. Becasue Comfort and Looking good are not always contraries (i.e. if you choose to dress wisely)
    So point number
3. There are ways you can choose to be both comfortable and look good simultaneously. How can you do that?
That's where you 'personalized style' comes in. The style that you choose for yourself based on how comfortable do you thin you are and how good you think you look. My thing in this is Let's say I am going to an evening cafe with some friends (casual). I am really tired from the day's work but I cannot afford the energy to dress up and go looking trendy when I don't feel like it. So I am going for comfortable but I have to look good as well. So it should  be Point # 3 Comfy and added style.
I would choose a (for example) white slacks something soft and with flappers. Now for the shirt my simple brown T-shirt with a logo / a design on it. Doesn't matter if it's plain. You have to accessorize. Like a nice sparkly belt with the slacks and nice bracelet/pendant. As you please. The thing is you feel comfortable and accessorize minimally so as to look flashing. It hides the fact that you are tired and if you can't even move a step.
